Good to know
Wix isn't HIPAA compliant by default. Protection is turned on in your dashboard, the BAA is signed, and some features (like Facebook and Instagram messages in your inbox) are switched off. You're responsible for how you use your site, so I plan health and wellness sites around these rules from day one and only collect protected information through covered tools.

Most Wix sites are built from templates in a drag-and-drop editor. Mine aren't. I custom-code your design, then connect it to Wix's business tools. You get a one-of-a-kind site that loads fast and can't be nudged out of place, plus everything above, managed from your dashboard or by simply asking your AI.
An honest note
Wix isn't right for every project. A highly custom web app or software product needs other tools, and I'll tell you that upfront. But for a beautiful, professional site that books, sells and markets your small business, and that you can actually keep up yourself, Wix is where I put my own business, and it's where I'd put yours.
Questions about Wix
Is Wix professional enough for a serious business?
Yes. Wix powers sites for over 300 million users in 190 countries and is a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: WIX). Every site I build has a fully custom-coded design, so it never looks like a template, with Wix's business tools running behind it.
Is Wix HIPAA compliant?
Wix can be. On a Business plan or higher, you turn on Wix's PHI protection and sign Wix's Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in your dashboard. Wix then supports HIPAA for covered tools like Bookings, Pricing Plans, Members and Email Marketing. Custom-coded (headless) sites qualify. Wix isn't HIPAA compliant by default, and you're responsible for how you use it, so I set up health and wellness sites with this in mind from the start.
Can clients really book through ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Every Wix site has a built-in connection that AI assistants can use to answer questions about your business and book your services. Purchases start in the conversation and finish on your secure checkout.
Can I run my business from my phone?
Yes. The free Wix app lets you reply to inquiries, manage bookings, see contacts, send proposals and take payments in person. Your clients can use the free Spaces by Wix app to book and keep up with you.
Is my site mobile-friendly?
Every site I build is designed and tested for phones, tablets and computers, not just shrunk down from a desktop layout.
Do I need plugins or updates like WordPress?
No. Wix is fully managed: hosting, security, SSL and performance are handled for you, with no plugins to install or patch.
Why don't you build on other platforms?
I work only in Wix because it's the best fit for the small businesses I build for: one login, every tool, no plugin maintenance, and a site you can update yourself. If your project truly needs a different platform, I'll tell you upfront.
